REXAIR RAINBOW AQUAMATE II CARPET EXTRACTOR
QUICK DISCONNECT, DOUBLE FEMALE
Twist on connectors did not prove a good design so I think they have
been discontinued by manufacturer as I can not find them in Rexair
parts catalog.
This new style Quick Disconnect latches onto the lower housing and uses
new style male part to connect to. Also to replace the lower housing
you will need to break 4 latches off the top housing part (use pointy
pliers).
Old upper housings can not be reused but new ones
can. If you will have to take apart the Aquamate 2 again - the first
time you will need to break
those latches again but then just drill 4 holes in lover housing and
use 4 screws to hold them together. So you need:
Upper Aquamate 2 housing
New design lower housing
Quick Disconnect male part
4 screws (for future if you will ever need to disassemble the Aquamate again)
