Description   DISCONTINUED AFTERMARKET KIRBY VACUUM BRUSH ROLL ASSEMBLY (firm bristles) These brush rolls are high quality aftermarket wooden brush rolls. They also have the height adjustment, just like the genuine ones. This is the type of the beater brush that comes installed in the new Kirby sweepers sold by Kirby dealers Will fit following Kirby "Generation" models: Generation 3 (G3) Generation 4 (G4) Generation 5 (G5) Generation 6 (G6) Ultimate G (G7 or UG) Ultimate G Diamond Ed.(G7 or DE) Sentria (G10) Sentria II (Sentria 2) Avalir Avalir 2 Replaces OEM Part # 152505 This brush roll will fit in the nozzle that has indicator light on the right (if you standing behind the vacuum as if you were vacuuming). It will fit in ANY Generations nozzle but if light is not on the right it will not be lit when brush is spinning. Do you have some sort of warranty program? I replaced the original OEM brush with this one from you, and I think it's safe to say the OEM one was still spinning some 35 years later, while yours seems to have died a premature death. Our response: We give one year guarantee ONLY for complete units. No parts, supplies or components are covered. However even in that case unit warranty would not have covered belts, bulbs, wheels and the roller. Manufacturer does not warranty them either. This is a bit premature – you are right, but this most likely have happened because something got caught around the bearing or cap and friction heated up the end of the roller and it just froze. There is nothing I can even suggest to make 100% sure that this would not happen again. In general it is highly recommended to keep the roller free of hair and threads from carpet but some may get in where you would not be able to even see. *This is a generic aftermarket replacement.
