Description   MINI EMPTOR FOR KIRBY G4 VACUUM CLEANER Discontinued by manufacturer as of November 2016 You will need to order the new style mini emptor (Avalir): Also please note that the Avalir mini emptor requires the New Style (snap) fill tube and F-Style elbow. Part # 188993 ( 188993 ) IMPORTANT NOTES : It is VERY common for old style miniemptors break an leave a piece of plastic on the exhaust. Then new mini-emptor seems to be too small. Make sure all plastic is removed from exhaust so you can see rubber horn gasket ring and 3 rivets just like in the picture below. New mini-emptors are made to accommodate new style - "Snap-In" fill tubes. The neck of the mini-emptor looks like this: And you will need to use fill tube like this: If your old miniemptor neck that you are replacing is like this and the fill tube that is currently installed is this: You need to get the new fill tube or better yet - entire fill tube/miniemptor assembly as the price for the assembly is less than for all components purchased separately.
