Description   RAINBOW D3 / D4 CORD TO CONNECT POWER NOZZLE TO ELECTRIFIED HOSE This is 40 inch cord also called "Wand Cord". Designed to work with Rainbow vacuums with serial numbers before #00469886 It is to be installed in the power nozzle (piece with the rotating brush roller for vacuuming carpets) It is for the setup where extension cord is run from the vacuum motor unit along the attachment hose (outside of the hose). This extension cord would plug into this cord. Prongs in this cors are recessed within the plug so you can plug in the extension cord but it would make it impossible to plug this cord into the electrified hose with the pistol grip (gas pump type) handle. If you have the electrified hose you need one of cords below (with exposed prongs): OEM Cord: or aftermarket cord: This is an alternative for the extension cord plus nozzle cord setup. This is long cord that would plug straight into the unit. While it eliminates need for extension cords it also makes the hose to be used for other purpose other than with the nozzle very inconvenient as you have the cord tied to the hose and you can't disconnect. .
