New Design Hose & SS Wand
[Add $109.00]

Description Russian
To be used with "E-series", "E2 Gold" and "E2 Blue" Rainbow sweeper models
Will not work with 2011 Rainbow model (black color). If you need Aquamate for that model click HERE.

Shampoo system to use with your Rainbow vacuum that will do all scrubbing and rubbing for you.
It has a rotating brush roll underneath the unit that scrubs the dirt of the carpet.

This is triple insulated. Cutout in the handle receptacle is not only difference. It is wired differently inside to minimize the risk of water getting onto electric contacts. Note the cutouts to the sides of the opening for plug, ones that reed arrows are pointing at. This is the easiest way to tell if you have correct hose.

Hose compatible with Aquamate III

If the receptacle of the handle looks like this - you should NOT use this hose. You need to purchase a new style electrified hose. Hose pictured below will NOT work with this Aquamate:

Having stainless steel pipe would help but it is not necessary. Because of water chrome-plated wand would rust inside a bit but it but it still will remain functional.
Rainbow ss wand

  • Aquamate
  • Printed Manual
  • Sheet with hints on usage
  • 16oz. shampoo concentrate

Setup and shampoo:
  • Blue water tank has 2 compartments - one for just tap water and another for Aquamate shampoo diluted with water (only cool tap water should be used). Fill up both.
  • Start with Rainbow vacuum water basin empty. For larger houses we recommend getting 4 quart water pan that needs to be emptied less often.
  • Use stainless steel power nozzle wand and new style electrified hose to connect Aqua Mate to the vacuum.
  • Work on about 3 feet X 3 feet patches of carpet at a time.
There are 4 modes that Aquamate will operate in:
    1. Pedal lifted to the very TOP position. Hose trigger pressed - brush rotating - this will dispense soapy water and brush roll will work the solution into the rug.
    2. Pedal pressed half way down to MIDDLE position. Hose trigger pressed - brush rotating - this will dispense clean water to rinse the carpet and brush roll will continue scrubbing it.
    3. Pedal pressed all the way down to BOTTOM position. Hose trigger pressed - brush rotating - this will not dispense any liquid but brush roll will continue scrubbing the rug.
    4. Pedal pressed all the way down to BOTTOM position. Hose trigger released - brush is not rotating - now you can go over the area you have just shampooed and pick up the water.
  • You can use those positions in the way you see fit. If you ended up spraying quite a bit of soapy solution you may want to go to position 4 before you rinse the rug (position 2)
  • Move to the next patch of the carpet or rug.
Cleanup and Storage:
  • It is important that you finish shampooing with RINSING phase.
  • Dump the remaining liquid out of the blue plastic container and rinse with clean water.
  • Disconnect the hose from long extension and use it to vacuum up any liquids left in the system itself.
  • Lift the brush roll (you have to just pull it) to access the spray nozzle and vacuum it up too.
  • Remove and clean the clear plastic and under it.

Great addition to Rainbow April 17, 2016
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from United States
I had a Hoover Spin Scrub before I got the blue E2 Rainbow (AquaMate 3 included) but this outcleans the SpinScrub (more powerful scrubbing brush on the AquaMate [motor driven] than SpinScrub [turbine powered]) & carpets & tile dry in no time; the SpinScrub took forever to dry.  The AquaMate is lightweight & easier to use than the stand-alone extractors.  Also takes up less space than the SpinScrub & the Rainbow has more airflow/suction

Best shampooer I've used May 25, 2014
Reviewer: Andrew Cusack from Huntsville, AL United States
I have owned this for about 3 years. I purchased it to test it out, and see if it would be a suitable replacement for my Bissel (self-propelled, heated, single brush model). It far outperforms the Bissel, especially in terms of water extraction. Only issue I've had is that there is a clear hose under the water tank, and one of the plastic nipples cracked off. Disadvantages are that it is narrower than the Bissel (and most others), the water capacity is small (lots of fillups to do a large room or a house), and it seems to collect a lot of pet hair in the brush. Upside is that it performs much better than the Bissel, and is much easier to operate and clean. The light weight makes it easier to use than even the self-propelled Bissel. Definitely recommend the 4qt bowl with this. Don't forget you can "shut off" the vacuum by popping the clear front plate off, to allow the water and cleaner to penetrate, or to go over stained areas with the brush an extra time.
