I had a Hoover Spin Scrub before I got the blue E2 Rainbow (AquaMate 3 included) but this outcleans the SpinScrub (more powerful scrubbing brush on the AquaMate [motor driven] than SpinScrub [turbine powered]) & carpets & tile dry in no time; the SpinScrub took forever to dry. The AquaMate is lightweight & easier to use than the stand-alone extractors. Also takes up less space than the SpinScrub & the Rainbow has more airflow/suction

I have owned this for about 3 years. I purchased it to test it out, and see if it would be a suitable replacement for my Bissel (self-propelled, heated, single brush model). It far outperforms the Bissel, especially in terms of water extraction. Only issue I've had is that there is a clear hose under the water tank, and one of the plastic nipples cracked off. Disadvantages are that it is narrower than the Bissel (and most others), the water capacity is small (lots of fillups to do a large room or a house), and it seems to collect a lot of pet hair in the brush. Upside is that it performs much better than the Bissel, and is much easier to operate and clean. The light weight makes it easier to use than even the self-propelled Bissel. Definitely recommend the 4qt bowl with this. Don't forget you can "shut off" the vacuum by popping the clear front plate off, to allow the water and cleaner to penetrate, or to go over stained areas with the brush an extra time.
