Notes:
This is an OLD style gasket that was glued to the bottom of the housing. It will work ONLY if used with old style motor gasket that looks like this:

The problem is that this old style gasket has been discontinued and no longer available from Rainbow vacuum manufacturer. It has been replaced by another gasket that is also glued to the motor but instead of being glued to the housing on the outer perimeter it has a lip that goes through the housing and acts as water pan gasket at the same time (red arrow):

So if you are planing to replace motor gasket too - do not buy this old style gasket. When installing new style motor gasket you will have to remove the old style gasket. Use a knife and do as good job as you can. Unfortunately it will not look absolutely perfect as this old style gasket was very well glued so no mater how you will try it will be visible that something was removed but it will not lead to loss of performance of your Rainbow vacuum in any way.

Blue arrow - you can leave the portion of the old gasket that acts as a water pan neck gasket or you can buy new one HERE.
