MOTOR ASSEMBLY 220volt
Original 110 volt Kirby vacuum motor converted to 220 volts

Includes switch and new fan blade (just like in the picture). We will install it in your Kirby vacuum for you for FREE if you let us keep your 110 volt motor. Motor comes with our guarantee.
We are not affiliated with Scott Fetzer Co. or the Kirby Co. so no factory warranty.

Make sure your Kirby vacuum is one of the following models:

Kirby G3
Kirby G4
Kirby G5
Kirby Gsix
Kirby Ultimate G
Kirby Sentria

Kirby Ultimate G Diamond edition also will accept this motor but the switch lowering speed will not work.

How do we do it?
We take 110 volt motors and ship them to a shop that specializes in rewinding electric motors. There it is stripped of old wires and and the motor is rewound with new wires to work with 220 volt power supply.
When we get them back here we have them running on lower voltage for a while to break in the motor brushes (conform with the commutator surface). Once brushes have been seated we have the motor running at full speed for at least 40 minutes to make sure that motor is running properly.
