CSS TANK SUDS SCREEN FOR KIRBY VACUUM (UG/DE)

Original shampooer tanks had different design where screen would go OVER the shampooer tank neck while this goes INTO the tank neck !!! That old style screen is obsolete and not available anymore

TIP

When using ALWAYS make sure it is inserted in the solution tank where it has to be. Sometimes it stays in the hose when taking apart and if it is not properly installed you will NOT have foam but will be pouring soapy water on the rug instead.

If it does not stay in you may want to heat up the plastic neck on the solution tank with a lighter so plastic becomes bendable and bend it inward just a little bit (not with fingers as plastic at this point is HOT) so it will create more friction with screen/plug and will not let it fall out. NEVER glue it in. Sometimes you will have to take it out and wash it.

Do this at your own risk. Use common sense - do not burn the tank, set the house on fire ...
