Description Technical

AQUAMATE CARPET SHAMPOO SYSTEM
220 / 230 / 240 volt
To be used with 2011 Rainbow model (black color)

New Rainbow e2 model vacuums come with 2 straight wands with power cords attached to them.
Rainbow e2 black wandSo shampooer does not have the power cord coming out of it and this is why it will not work with prior Rainbow sweeper models. When wand is inserted into the shampoo unit at the same time power hooks up the power supply.
Rainbow Aquamate hookup

"E-series", "E2 Gold" and "E2 Blue" Rainbow sweeper models
Will not work with . If you need Aquamate for that model click HERE.

Included:
  • Aquamate
  • Printed Manual
  • Sheet with hints on usage
  • 16oz. shampoo concentrate

Operation:
Setup and shampoo:
  • Blue water tank has 2 compartments - one for just a regular cool (NOT HOT) tap water and another for Aquamate shampoo diluted with water. Fill up both.
  • Start with Rainbow vacuum water basin empty. For larger areas we recommend getting 4 quart water container that needs to be emptied less often.
  • Use 2 wands and the electrified hose to hook up the shampooer to the vacuum.
  • Work on about 3 feet X 3 feet patches of carpet at a time.
There are 4 Aquamate operating modes:
    1. Pedal lifted to the very TOP position. Hose trigger pressed - brush rotating - this will dispense soapy water and brush roll will work the solution into the rug.
    2. Pedal pressed half way down to MIDDLE position. Hose trigger pressed - brush rotating - this will dispense clean water to rinse the carpet and brush roll will continue scrubbing it.
    3. Pedal pressed all the way down to BOTTOM position. Hose trigger pressed - brush rotating - this will not dispense any liquid but brush roll will continue scrubbing the rug.
    4. Pedal pressed all the way down to BOTTOM position. Hose trigger released - brush is not rotating - now you can go over the area you have just shampooed and pick up the water.
  • You can use those positions in the way you see fit. If you ended up spraying quite a bit of soapy solution you may want to go to position 4 before you rinse the rug (position 2)
  • Move to the next patch of the carpet or rug.
Cleanup and Storage:
  • It is important that you finish shampooing with RINSING phase.
  • Dump the remaining liquid out of the blue plastic container and rinse with clean water.
  • Disconnect the hose from long extension and use it to vacuum up any liquids left in the system itself.
  • Lift the brush roll (you have to just pull it) to access the spray nozzle and vacuum it up too.
  • Remove and clean the clear plastic and under.
