KIRBY VACUUM AIR INTAKE GUARD (models G5 and G6)

When using Kirby vacuum in the blower mode:
Kirby blower mode

do NOT use it with the nozzle attached. It will operate on slower speed and will blow dirt and dust that inevitably accumulates inside of the carpet nozzle. There is a safety switch on the front of the unit that will not let you operate your Kirby sweeper without nothing covering the intake. This is why you need the safety cup.

Kirby G5 vacuum model intake guard in maroon color has been discontinued by manufacturer and now Kirby Company offers the black one as the replacement

Matches color for G6, replacement for maroon color of G5.
