This shield is an optional attachment, that will work with all Kirby Shampoo System Nozzles and Brushes (starting G3 and newer). This will not fit multi surface shampoo systems that came out with Avalir and later models.

It is designed to brush your carpet after shampooing, while carpet is still slightly damp. Works very well in high traffic areas, where carpet becomes matted down. Brush carpet from all directions, so that rotating brush could comb and raise all carpet fibers. Really makes the difference.
