Will fit Rainbow vacuums that has "Snap In" filter covers. Plastic cover that holds this filter in the Rainbow housing does not attach to the main housing with screws. Rather it has 2 latches on the bottom and the cord caddy is attached to it.

This filter should last you for a few years as long as you do not "put the Rainbow to the test" by vacuuming after construction or using it to pickup a big pile of fine dust that should be picked up with a big shovel,. Do not vacuum plaster dust or ashes from your fireplace. Water will not be able to absorb high volume of this fine dust and everything will end up on the HEPA cartridge and all pores will be clogged in a jiffy.

Even though it is "washable" I would say - just get a new filter. Getting the smallest dust particles out of microscopic filter pores with running from the faucet water is nearly impossible.
