Can we just buy handle part and convert our old hose to pickup water (use Aquamate III)?
Technically - yes but if you would to convert your hose you have to purchase 6 or 7 parts and combine cost will be somewhere around 50 dollars. Even if you will be able to figure out how to properly connect all wires and the switch it would not end there. You have to know exactly where to put these wires and at what angle hose has to be in order for everything to fit within this handle or you would not be able to close it. Just buy the whole hose assembly - this is MUCH better option.
