Remove Kirby outer bag strap

I would like to was my Kirby cloth bag. How do I remove the strap holding the bag onto the plastic part without having to buy a new one?

Removing the Kirby bag strap
 
Tools to remove Kirby bag strap

For that we use a tiny screwdriver and a cable tie.

Lift all Kirby strap bars

You need to bring the plastic bars over the strap teeth to release it. To do that we lift the bar with the screwdriver and push in smooth end of the cord strap in between the bar and the tooth one at a time

Do the same to all bars

Do the same with all five Kirby strap bars.

Remove Kirby bag strap

Then the bag strap releases very easy.
