After 2 years I replaced the roller brush unit, one of the roll bearing got stuck and damaged, and the boot worn out off center. Some hairs and lints got tangled inside due to a gap around the retainer shield. For users: I suggest to remove the shield and the boot, clean it, oil the bearing and make sure it turns freely. I have the Rainbow E-series for 8 years and overall it is working well.
