RAINBOW E2 VACUUM SEPARATOR NUT

This is a plastic nut for Rainbow E2 two speed series vacuum separator. It rarely has to be removed for separator cleaning as separator does not need to be cleaned after every use as in early Rainbow vacuum models.

Rainbow used to make this all plastic, but now includes a brass insert thread into the plastic due to the threads constantly being stripped in the plastic. The reason for the plastic is to try to prevent corrosion because this item is removed so infrequently that the outside would corrode if it was metal.
