COMPATIBILITY ISSUE !
This is newer style pivot arm for nozzles that have covers WITHOUT metal upright lock clip:

If you happen to have one of the early E2 or original one speed e-series nozzle covers that has the above shown upright lock clip buy THIS pivot arm:


Sometimes the clip will be old and "tired" so will not hold the pipe with hose upright. Then you can purchase a new clip (slick on the picture of the clip above).
OR
Just get the new pivot arm on this listing and matching nozzle over. NONE of the cover manufactured today have clips so all of them will work with the pivot but you have to be carefull selecting appropriate nozzle cover that will fit your setup.

  • E2 Blue (Platinum / Silver)
  • E2 Gold Two Speed
  • E Series (One Speed, E2 One Speed) it it has been upgraded. Originally none of one speed Rainbows had this pivot

I bought this part because the wand kept pulling out of the power nozzle, and replacing the button on the wand didn't fix it.  It was pretty tough getting the plastic cover off the power nozzle, but aside from that it went pretty smoothly.  Best of all, the problem is fixed and the wand doesn't pull out of the power nozzle any more.

Excellent part descriptions on this website made me confident I was ordering the correct part for my model.
