MOTOR BRUSH/HOLDER KIT, GSE

Kit contains 2 brushes.

This is a kit with plastic motor brush housings. It is not interchangeable with older style with metal brush housings.

For instructions how to access the motor brushes go HERE.
Skip unnecessary steps - motor does NOT have to be completely removed from the main housing.


MOTOR BRUSH SEATING STICK HERE

When replacing motor carbon brushes we recommend getting some brush seating stone to make the brush conform to the surface of the copper commutator plates on the armature. Armatures with badly warped commutators may need to be replaced or machined on a lathe.
